My e.l.f. Mini Shopping Haul

On April's Fools Day, e.l.f. offered free shipping (which I was impatiently waiting for me) for 24 hours. Then the next day they said "Got ya, it's been extended another 24 hours." Jokes on them, I've been waiting for free shipping! You just needed to place a $15 order. I was low on their body butter so I stocked up again on Vanilla Coconut (pictured above), they are $4 each. Here's what else I got:

Two nail polishes: Mint Cream and Mango Madness. A lot of their new colors were sold out. I really wanted the dark turquoise color called Teal Blue, but for $1 I figured I'd give Mint Cream a try. Strangely one came in a box and one didn't. I didn't realize that e.l.f's were toluene, formaldehyde and DBP free! That's pretty impressive for a one dollar bottle.

I also needed a new bottle of their Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter. Love this stuff! It's $3 and I get it the palest color, Fair and Glow as the highlighter. It's one of the few concealers that are light enough for my skin. I also love that a highlighter is included because I have dark circles and those are used to reflect light (or something). I will say that this product doesn't travel well. Whenever I fly to California it ends up breaking. For $3 I do expect cheap packaging so I guess it's a minor detail I'll look over for something that works for me.

Remember I mentioned in my bold lips post that the liquid eyeliner I had was REALLY old? I felt that I should probably update it so why not try e.l.f.'s for $1? There's a lot of gorgeous colors but I opted for traditional black. It says the "fine tip applicator creates easy, defined and precise lines" and claims to be "smudge-proof" and create "long wear, luminous color." I definitely like the bottle, it creates a long wand to hold for application. Not too much product comes out on the tip. I wore it yesterday and it lasted throughout the day, but I think that is expected with liquid liner. Don't you use liquid liner if you want something to last longer than pencil? I know I do.

Lastly, to fill the bill, I thought I'd try their Zit Zapper product for $1, it's one of their best sellers. It comes in a clear, roller looking pen. It claims to "fight acne, reduce redness and swelling." It is an "unique blend of Salicylic Acid, Tea Tree, Witch Hazel and Camphor." Well, I have my doubts but we'll see. Would you want to see a review?

What are some of your favorite e.l.f. products?
