Richie Rich Fall '11 Fashion Show

J-WOWW was there!
I had the honor of winning tickets to the Richie Rich fashion show (thanks Walter Steiger on Twitter!). The show was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom, which is a massive space (similar in size to typical Broadway theaters). It was a mad house! It took an hour just to get in the door where there was lots of pushing and shoving. Once inside, I headed up to the orchestra. I was too far to see any faces or get any good pics (but that's what the internet is for, right?)

It wasn't your typical fashion show. The crowd was very loud and involved. The show started with an opera singer, a harp player and an interpretive dancer which ended with the dancer kissing another man much to the delight of the audience. Then the Harlem Jazz Gang came out and pumped up the crowd followed by the first round of looks. In true Richie fashion, "my favorite color is glitter" was evident by the Walter Steiger shoes.

I loved this burnt orange color dress.

Socialite Tinsley Mortimer opened up the show.

Fabulous drag queens were there... of course!

Oooh look... Johnny Weir!

The show was over an hour, but was very entertaining. Even Giuseppe enjoyed himself!
