Review: Kate Walsh's "Boyfriend" Fragrance

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share my thoughts about Kate Walsh's perfume "Boyfriend." It is the second celebrity perfume I've purchased (gasp!). First, was Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. perfume. I read good reviews via Twitter about "Boyfriend" and was in the market for a new fragrance. I headed to Sephora with my nose ready and was pleasantly surprised by "Boyfriend."

It is described as "men's cologne that lingers on the skin of his girlfriend, merging woody notes with amber and flowers. Dark plum and myrrh open the composition, fading into a floral bouquet of lily, night blooming jasmine and musk" (Source). I can definitely smell that but it also smells a bit like honey to me. I'm a fan of lighter, feminine scents where you don't smell the alcohol so much.

It comes in a cute bottle with guy names etched on it, which is similar to the box. I like the packaging.

I wore it to the IFB Conference and could still smell it on me at the end of the day (amen!). "Boyfriend" definitely fits into my repertoire of fragrances. It was also reasonably priced compared to other perfumes available at $35 for a .5 fl oz bottle. Also on an ironic note, my boyfriend liked it!

Would I buy it again? Yes!

Have you smelled "Boyfriend" yet? What do you think?
