Review: L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

I know I'm a little late on this one, but I wanted to share my review of a product I really love using.

There was a lot of hype about this product. I was skeptical at first. According to the box it "smoothes lines, hides pores, banishes imperfections." No product is perfect, but I find that it evens out my complexion. I have dark under eye circles and rosy cheeks, which I feel look more subdued once I apply a layer of this. It also mattifies my shiny forehead.

Doesn't it look like whipped cream? Yum!
The box describes it as a "silky lightweight formula glides onto skin, leaving it velvety-smooth to the touch." Totally agree! It is very lightweight and smooth to the touch. It makes my skin feel so smooth (ooh la la!). Some were concerned how it would be with powder formula, would it dry out your skin? I used it with both; liquid and powder. I used it with BareEscentuals mineral makeup and found no problems with it.

Suitable for all skin types, dermatological tested and non-comedogenic. Some complaints are about the price. It is pricey for being a drugstore brand at $12 for just 0.5flz. However, there are always $2 coupons available so it's more like $10. It lasts a really long time so I feel it is worth it.

I highly recommend it! I really enjoy this primer and it is my every day go-to choice.

What is your experience with this product?
